AN4 Sheu Rabiu
Sheu is now 16 years old and in SS2 (high school/10th grade).  His teachers report that he is very bright and catches on fast.  He always maintains a consistently good academic performance, in spite of the fact that he now has no mother.  Sheu is a very motivated young man and works at odd jobs for supplies for school.  Although he is from a Moslem background, he loves the Lord. 







AN7 Grace Offiong
Grace is now 11 years old and in Primary 4.  Last year she sat for her exams and received a grade to rate third in her class.  She is a very active girl who loves sports and loves to sing.  Grace has several siblings and their father passed away last year, leaving the mother to find work.  Her mother has not been able to cope well with the changes in the family. 


AN12 Deborah Oluwa Tomipe Omole
Tomipe, 14, is a talented dancer who also sings in the school choir.  She is in SS2 (high school/9th grade).  Tomipe loves math and biology and plans to become a computer scientest.  She has been experiencing chest pains for some time now and should see a doctor.  She became very emotional as we prayed with her.








AN13 Naomi Offiong
Naomi is always smiling despite the loss of her father last year.  She is 8 years old and in Primary 2.  She loves her teacher and is first in her class.  She is a promising child who loves the Lord.   
    

AN15 Leonard Offiong
Since his father's death last year, Leonard has had to carry a heavy weight of responsibility. He is only 12 years old. His mother stayed home with the children before her husband's death and is trying to find work. She currently has a business selling used clothing, but business is very bad. Leonard loves to play "football" (soccer) and wants to stay in school. He must have a sponsor if he is to continue his education.








AN16 Opeyemi Morenikiji Adams
Opeyemi is 15 years old and in SS2 (high school/10th grade) at Christlight Schools. She is described as a brilliant girl, very resourceful. She feels things deeply, but is respectful and honest. Her mother is very ill with sickle-cell anemia and there is no father in the home.  Opeyemii is being raised by an elderly grandmother who earns only $21.42 per month. She is seen as a promising student who loves God.

Grace Children Home
Yangon, Myanmar (Burma)
The children of Grace Children Home were once children who had no place to go.  A young pastor and his wife had a heart for the orphans and they established this safe haven for the children to live and learn.  They are doing all that they can, but the orphanage still struggles financially.  Your support will make a difference.  Would you reach out to help these little ones?  

GCHM1 Isak
The biggest thing about fourteen year old Isak is his smile!  He is very small for his age due to living in poverty for years.  Isak and his younger brother and sister all live at Grace Children Home.  His mother is deceased and his father is jobless and cannot take care of the children.  Isak is in Grade 9 and is very interested in his studies.  Someday he would love to be an engineer.


GHCM3 Biakneihthanga  
Biakneihthanga is now twelve years old and in Grade 6.  He has been living in Grace Children Home since 2004, along with his two siblings.  After his mothers death, his jobless father was forced to abandon the children.  Biakneihthanga desires to be a teacher when he is older and he appreciates the opportunity to get an education.

Woodson is a shy little boy.  His father and mother have five children to support, but neither have work since the quake.  Woodson is five years old and in the first grade.




HTC21 Woodsdawensky Cherilus
Woodsdawensky is eight years old and in the thrid grade.  He is a very smart young man and his dream is to become a doctor when he is older.




HTC22 Marke Esler Esperance
The parents of four year old Esperance are both unemployed.  His mother had a little business selling things on the street, but no longer has the money to do this.  Esperance looks forward each day to going to kindergarten.



HTC23 Maykenley Cherilus   
This precocious little boy likes to play!  He is a brother to Woodson and Woodsdawensky.  Maykenley is four years old and is in kindergarten.




HTC24 Abdias Pierre
Eleven year old Abdias is in second grade and his goal is to one day become a lawyer.  He will need financial help for that to happen.  Abdias' father is deceased and his mother is out of work.  She is the sole provider for her three children.  The youngest is Abdias' baby sister, who is very malnourished.      



HTC25 Schneider Seide
Schneider is so grateful for the help to go to school.  He would like to be an engineer when he graduates.  Schneider is fourteen years old and in the fifth grade.  Schneider is a brother to Abdias (HTC24).
 



HTC26 Jephlina Louis
Jephlina is six years old and in kindergarten.  She was brought to us by her older brother, who is only 15, and it appears that he is the only one caring for himself and his younger siblings.  Both parents are away and may have abandoned the family.  The brother said that the parents have never provided for them.



HTC27 Vilner Louis     
Vilner is a brother to Jephlina (HTC26).  He looks very sickly, probably due to the living conditions of his family.  Vilner has a big heart, though, and wants desperately to do something to make money to help his family.  He is ten years old and in second grade. 



HTC29 Ricardo Jeudy
The earthquake destroyed everything that this family owned.  They used to operate a small business, but now it is all gone.  Ricardo's mother and father have found no work.  Fifteen year old Ricardo yearns to learn more in school.  He is now in the fourth grade.



HTC30 Ricardy Jeudy
Ricardy is a twin to HTC29, Ricardo Jeudy.  He also is fifteen and in fourth grade.  He would like to learn to do something with his hands, possibly become a mechanic.  There is much work in Haiti for mechanics.




HTC31 Carline Jeudy
Fourteen year old Carline is a sister to the twins above.  This third grader wants to finish school and some day go to university.




HTC32 Huberson Brevil
Huberson comes from a large family - seven children, his mother, and father.  Both his mother and father are elderly and cannot work.  Huberson is thirteen and in fourth grade.




HTC 33 Jameley Bordes 
Jameley is in second grade.  There is no father in this eight year old's household.  His mother takes any little job that she can, and she is the sole support for seven children.   




HTC34 Kelly Bordes
Kelly is Jameley's brother.  He is one of seven children in the family.  Kelly is six years old and in first grade.





HTC35 Erickenson Josue
Erickenson's mother is very sick and there is no father in the picture.  The family lives with Erickenson's grandmother in the tent city.  This little boy is nine and in Kindergarten.




HTC36 Placente Deslauriers

Both of Dgeny's parents are deceased.  One parent died in the quake and the other passed away shortly after of an illness, possibly cholera.  The little girl was abandoned by relatives, but was taken in by the mother of one of the other children in our sponsorship program.  Dgeny is nine years old and in kindergarten.





HTC12 Raphaella Darius    
Raphaella is seven years old and in second grade.  She has two other siblings and the children live with their mother in the tent city.  Raphaella's father died of cholera.  Her mother works when she can find a job, but that is very infrequent.






HTC13 Michelda Delva 
Five year old Michelda is in the first grade.  Her mother is not working and the father has abandoned them.







HTC14 Nephetali Delva
Nephetali is very anxious to go to school to learn new things.  She is eight years old and in second grade.








HTC15 Maryse Silien
Maryse is so thankful to Heart Cry for any help that she receives.  Her mother is deceased and her father abandoned her to live in the province.  Maryse lives in the tent city with a cousin.  She is fifteen years old and in fourth grade.





HTC17 Rheurmond Rsethsaida 
A big name for a little girl!  Rheurmond is four years old and in kindergarten.  Her parents worked before the quake and now they are so sad and ashamed that they cannot make a living and care for their daughter as they would like.  The family has lost everything.






HTC18 Murcier Phenson
Murcier's family lives with his grandmother in the tent city.   They made a tiny garden to provide some food, but they are extremely poor and really need help.  Murcier is almost four years old and will be in kindergarten when he is able go to school.






HTC19 Royal Sergenas
Nine year old Royal is in fourth grade.  Her father used to work construction before the quake, but no more.  Royal's mother loves her children very much and she and her husband try their best to provide for the family.
